DONGGUAN, Dec 4 – The groundbreaking ceremony for the major Dongguan municipal projects, the World Precision Smart Manufacturing Center and the Wanjiang Xincun Resettlement Housing Project, was held today at the Wanjiang Xincun Modern Industrial Park. In attendance at the main ceremony were key figures including Chen Shunjiao, Party Secretary of the Wanjiang Sub-district Committee; Mo Yubin, Deputy Party Secretary and Director of the Wanjiang Sub-district Office, along with other committee members Liao Huahan, Huo Yongjian, Yuan Xijiang, Ren Boren, and He Minfei. Representing World Precision, Chairman and General Manager Ren Xiangyang led the company's management team – comprising Chen Canhua, Huang Min, Xu Guoliang, Yao Guohua, Zhou Liming, Liu Jianming – and elite employee representatives to witness this pivotal moment.
Addressing the ceremony, Mr. Ren Xiangyang stated that the World Precision Smart Manufacturing Center represents a crucial strategic move in responding to global competition and advancing the mission of "Intelligent Manufacturing in China." The center will integrate world-class equipment such as ultra-precision five-axis machining centers, fully automated flexible production lines, and digital inspection platforms to establish a tri-integrated smart manufacturing system encompassing R&D, production, and testing. Mr. Ren revealed that upon completion, the project is expected to generate an annual output value exceeding 1 billion RMB and create 800 new jobs, injecting robust momentum into the enhancement and upgrade of the high-end precision intelligent equipment and smart manufacturing industrial chain in Dongguan and the Greater Bay Area.
In his speech, Director Mo Yubin emphasized that the commencement of these two major projects exemplifies Wanjiang's dual commitment to industrial upgrading and community well-being. It marks a significant step in the sub-district's partnership with enterprises to achieve high-quality development. He urged all relevant government departments to maintain a proactive, service-oriented approach, ensuring seamless coordination and efficient problem-solving throughout the construction phase. The local community was called upon to provide a safe and orderly environment for "zero-obstacle" project progression. Director Mo also stressed the paramount importance of safety and quality control, aiming to establish both projects as benchmarks for safe, high-quality, and environmentally sound construction.
Following the speeches, Mr. Ren Xiangyang, accompanied by distinguished guests, participated in the traditional groundbreaking ritual, symbolically laying the foundation for the World Precision Smart Manufacturing Center and the Wanjiang Xincun Resettlement Housing Project. This act, accompanied by the sound of firecrackers at the main and secondary venues and the simultaneous startup of construction machinery, formally initiated the project's substantive construction phase.

Located in the Xincun Community of Wanjiang Sub-district, the World Precision Smart Manufacturing Center represents a total investment of 520 million RMB and occupies a planned area of approximately 56.6 acres. It will focus on the core business of R&D and manufacturing of high-end precision metal components.
Leveraging over two decades of expertise and industrial accumulation in intelligent automation equipment and precision machining, the center will be developed into a modern, integrated smart manufacturing base for R&D, production, testing, and operations.
